Orlando Pirates have officially unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2026/27 season, with adidas delivering a design that celebrates the club's legacy while looking ahead to a historic milestone.
The launch marks the beginning of the Buccaneers' journey towards their 90th anniversary in 2027, with both jerseys paying tribute to Johannesburg, the city where the club was founded and where its identity was shaped.

The new home jersey stays true to Pirates' iconic black colours but introduces a bold geometric chevron pattern across the front, inspired by the strength and resilience of granite. The design reflects the unwavering spirit of the club and its supporters while maintaining the clean, unmistakable look associated with the Buccaneers.

The away jersey takes a different approach. Finished in white with striking gold detailing, it draws inspiration from eGoli, the City of Gold, celebrating Johannesburg's rich history and the role it has played in the club's story over the past nine decades. Both jerseys also feature two iconic Pirates crests with gold accents, symbolising the connection between the club's past and its future.

Beyond the aesthetics, the kits are built with adidas' latest CLIMACOOL technology, designed to keep players cool and comfortable throughout the season.
The launch comes at an exciting time for Orlando Pirates. Fresh off their Betway Premiership title-winning campaign, expectations are high as the Buccaneers prepare to defend their crown while building towards one of the biggest celebrations in the club's history.
The new jerseys are available through adidas, Orlando Pirates stores and selected retail partners, with the official retail price set at R1,399.
